May 2018—Hosted by Associated Training Services (ATS), the 44th Biannual NCCCO Commissioners Meeting was held in April at ATS headquarters in in Sun Prairie, WI.
More than 60 NCCCO Commissioners, Committee members, and guests gathered for a week-long series of meetings that focused on various aspects of exam development and management of several CCO certification programs.
Among the committees meeting were the management committees for the Overhead Crane, Tower Crane, Signalperson and Mobile Crane programs. NCCCO’s Crane Type Advisory Group (CTAG) and Practical Exam Audit Committee (PEAC) were also in session. Meals and refreshment breaks were sponsored by AGC of Wisconsin, American State Equipment, ATS, and Terex Cranes.
“ATS provided outstanding hospitality throughout the week-long event,” said NCCCO Commission Chair, Ellis Vliet. “Their state-of-the-art meeting facilities provided excellent opportunities for subject matter experts to stay focused and engaged in the vitally important matters that support NCCCO’s goals of continuous improvement in exam design and construction."
